Training
Our Training Courses show clients how to test their own produced foam (finished foam) and foam concentrates using our field test kits without the need for a Laboratory. We can also provide bespoke training for other aspects of fire fighting foam testing.
Produced Foam Testing (Half Day Course)
We offer a comprehensive training course to certify personnel involved in the onsite testing of produced foam from expanded foam based fire fighting systems, typically those covered by NFPA11 and British Standards BS EN 13565-1:2019 and BS EN 13565-2018 but the test method is equally applicable to other Standards that require foam concentration to be confirmed by site test. The Produced Foam Testing Course teaches site personnel how to take good quality foam samples and test them on site, as well as troubleshooting problem systems.
Foam Concentrates Testing (Full Day Course)
This course teaches personnel how to use our Foam Concentrates Test Kit to determine the key physical properties which can be used to identify early issues with the foam concentrates. Properties covered include: Expansion Ratio, Quarter Drainage Time, Specific Gravity and pH. Produced Foam testing is also included in this course. This is a theory course due to the requirement for a live system to perform some of the tests. We can offer practical onsite training if the client has a foam system available to use.
Bespoke Training
We can provide bespoke training to cover other aspects of fire fighting foam such as Laboratory testing to IMO, British Standard BS EN 13565 and site testing for Produced Foam and/or Foam Concentrates (at customer facilities).
